I have great pleasure in presenting our programme for The Pokey Hole 2013.
We sincerely hope you enjoyed our presentation in 2012 and managed to make some of the gigs. We were particularly encouraged by the enthusiasm for us to repeat the ELO/SUPERTRAMP tribute night - considered by many to be one of the best nights ever! 2013 sees their return.
Talon return this summer for the eighth year, but it will be a 3 day presentation featuring TALON ACOUSTIC COLLECTION, followed by TALON BEST OF THE EAGLES, and CHRIS LLOYDS JAZZLINES. Please book early, we are expecting another sell-out!!
LIMEHOUSE LIZZY (World No.1 tribute to Thin Lizzy) and WHO’s WHO play the amphitheatre in July - this will be a superb night of classic rock.
THE ANIMALS and, at long last, THE TROGGS will be playing the club, plus the excellent SMALL FAKERS, a tribute act to The Small Faces for the Christmas party.
Fundraising for the next two years will be in
aid of JESSIE’S FUND who provide musical
instruments and teachers for terminally ill
children in 22 hospices up and down the
country. An excellent small charity and just
right for The Pokey Hole.
The Pokey Hole at Conkers
The Pokey Hole moves across the road for June, July and August to our sensational covered amphitheatre at Conkers Waterside.
