Chris Lloyd’s Jazzlines + The Ann Duggan Band

VENUE: The Miners Welfare Club, Bath Lane, Moira DE12 6BP

CHRIS LLOYD is well know to Pokey audiences as the founder member and lead singer of Talon, (the worlds most authentic and successful Eagles tribute band). Jazzlines is his latest concept and 2008 will see Chris working alongside some of the UK’s most respected and foremost jazz musicians. From Cole Porter and George Gershwin to Donald Fagen and George Benson, the whole genre of jazz will be explored by one of the finest male vocalists around. If you love jazz/swing and soulful ballads then Jazzlines is for you.

For the past 10 years Ann Duggan has slowly but surely been building a sizeable following on the U.K music scene. She has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices on the U.K live circuit, gigging extensively to increasingly enthusiastic crowds. Ann's voice has taken her from the East Midlands to Chicago and the Mississippi. Along the way she has formed her own band and recorded three albums. Ann's music might best be described as a seamless mix adding country, folk and rock, played with a powerful combination of energy, melody and lyricism.
